Competing and comparing will always allow you to fall short. Let me elaborate on why. See, every person is not the same from the next...so why would your journey be the same? We tend to think that we have to always compete each other instead of helping one another.
NEWS FLASH: nobody’s better than anybody.
We are all human, and we are also individuals who takes different paths. Stop comparing yourself to the next. Stop hating on your friends because they’re doing better than you. Stop rubbing it in people’s faces when life happens to them. Oh don’t stop reading now, I’m just spitting facts!
Why is it that we can’t celebrate our fellow brother or sister without hating on them? How bout, instead we uplift them, encourage them to keep going, and pray for continuous success. Allow it to motivate us to do and be better. When life hits your fellow neighbor, why do we take that as an opportunity to kick people while they’re down. I’m sure they feel bad enough about the situation, why does it need to be highlighted and emphasized? How bout, we take the time to go check up on them, pray for them, and ask what could you do to help? What ever happen to looking out for one another. Everyone has their own journey, but it never hurts to help.
Whether you have the help or not, if you remain focus and determined, your hard work will pay off. Stop doubting yourself because your success is at a different past than others. Remember, it’s never about your timing, but always about God’s timing!
